Officially a Home Owner

So initially on this blog, I talked about marriage and the stresses I had with planning a wedding and being a wife. Amazingly I worked through that, and have been very content over the last year (wow has it been almost a year already?) with where I am in life. Now all the sudden we've moved on to the next step: buying a house! Does that mean we are growing up, please tell me no??

Holy crap, as of tomorrow, I am an official homeowner! Lots of emotions running though me right now, hence the reason why I can't sleep. Scary, exciting, and in some sense it's the start of the "new beginning" of our lives together.

Cheesy as that might sound, I find it somewhat true. This house hunting thing has been a looooong time coming, a two year process for us with alot of ups and downs, and one where I never really anticipated having an end in sight. Now that it's finally here, I've find myself having yet another reality check. "This is it, we've done this together as a couple and there's no turning back." Buying a house, especially one with large mortgage means responsibility, budgeting, teamwork and communication in order to make it all work. For me this is a very big and scary next step. But one that we are both very happy and excited about!

Officially we close tomorrow which means we get our keys, god help me b/c I am so over staring at mazes of boxes for the last few days. We will be gradually moving stuff in this week and our movers come on Friday to take the bulk of our stuff. I am SO ready to be settled and unpacked. Being unsettled unsettles me which is not very fun! So after much ado u, I introduce to you our new house as of tomorrow: 612 Lakeview Way Emerald Hills, CA 94062. Link is above. Looking forward to all our friends and family coming over to visit!
