Wedding Montage

Alot of life happenings to report over the last few weeks which I will get to soon, but first and foremost I've discovered You Tube (not really a discovery, more like the first time I've actually tried to upload a video to it) and was able to successfully add our wedding montage here. What a great way to remember our wedding day. Thanks to Allegra from Allegra Studios for some amazing shots and putting this together. Hard to believe it's been almost a year, but thanks to her it's day we will never forget!

A Look Back on 2009

Happy New Year, and WOW what a life changing year it was! As I reflect on 2009, I realize how hard it is to summarize. I've included a few photos below, but bear with me while I try to document it all. Our travels took us to many fun places this year (and I am not counting work trips b/c those are not fun) including: Cabo, DC multiple times, Tahoe, Carmel, South Beach, St Lucia, Portland, Italy, Blacksburg, and NYC. That's quite an itinerary, and I don't want to even try and tally the amount of hours I've spent on a plane this year. Don't worry, that's not all though...I moved to the burbs, redecorated, got MARRIED (did I mentioned I got MARRIED), honeymooned at the same resort as Fergie, witnessed two other weddings, learned that I actually kick butt at my job, spent my first Xmas as a Mrs. with the hubby in our home, and most importantly realized I am actually okay with being a "wife." That latter probably sounds a bit odd, but during the march to the wedding a wise mentor asked me if I considered myself "a daughter" or a" wife?" And my answer was an adamant; DUH, of course I'm a daughter!" During our engagement, the word wife just sounded too grown up and weird for me to grasp, but after being married for over 6 months now, I think I've had a breakthrough. I'm happy to report that I'm very content being a wife! Now that deserves a cheers to 2009, don't you think? Looking forward to another fun filled year with friends, family and laughter. Cheers!
